Composition and manufacture
Hangers and hooks slide into aluminium rails which also forms a slatted shelf. The NV hangers are held by nylon straps which cannot be removed from the rails. The straps give flexibility, making it easy to place coats and other garments on them. Single or multiple grey or black nylon hooks can slot into the aluminium rails along with NV hangers. A new range of ply hangers WH and acrylic hangers PH are now available. The cup hook C is a new addition to the Binns range of hooks. This was developed for the American market to enable heavy objects such as satchels to be suspended where a standard nylon hook would not suffice. Rails are extruded aluminium. Wall brackets are produced from mild steel. The finish of the brackets and rails is powder coated in colour combinations from the full RAL range. On installation wall brackets hold the rails with captive nuts, which slide in the top of the rails. Centres for fixing the wall brackets are not pre-determined and can be varied to suit site requirements. We recommend wall brackets to be fixed at not more than 1000mm centres.
