Binns Variset VZ Range

A high performance range of hanging equipment designed for changing rooms and cloakrooms. See clause 170 for matching Binns VZ bench units.

Framework:

Hollow flat oval section heavy gauge steel tube, fully welded assembly.

Shelves:

32 x 75 mm sustainable European White Beech slats, finished with clear acid-catalysed lacquer. Aluminium slats of the same section are available.

Hangers:

6 mm diameter steel rod, available in stainless steel or mild steel (coated in polyester or nylon).

Finishes:

Framework - can be coated in polyester or nylon.

Binns VZ11 Coat Rack

A wall unit with single row of coat hangers and shelf.

• Overall width including coat hangers: 475 mm.
• Width of shelf: 315 mm.

Binns VZ12 Coat Rack

A wall unit with single row of coat hangers, high level shelf and additional floor fixing uprights.

• Overall width including coat hangers: 555 mm.
• Width of shelf: 315 mm.
• Overall height: 1785 mm.
• Overall height of wall brackets: 300 mm.

Designed for situations where the wall is not strong enough for VZ11 unit. Note, however, that wall fixings are still required.

Binns VZ13 Coat Rack

A single width island unit with single row of coat hangers and high level shelf.

• Overall width: 435 mm.
• Overall height: 1785 mm.

The unit is floor mounted and is designed to be used up against hollow or partition walls where wall fixings are not possible.

Binns VZ14 Coat Rack

A double sided island unit with two rows of hangers and high level shelf.

• Overall width (excluding coat hangers): 750 mm. Including coat hangers: 1100 mm.

Accessories:

Binns can provide two tier units to increase capacity and can also utilise shoe trays to create additional shelving. For added security, hangers can incorporate an armoured cable with the option of a coin return lock or padlock and hasp.

Binns Variset Single and Multiple Hook System

A range of hat and coat hooks that can be either fixed individually or as multiple hook units. Multiple hooks and spacers slide on a backplate to give hooks at either 95 mm or 190 mm centres. Multiple hooks can be one type or a combination of the two types at either of the two centres or a mixture of both.

A drawing will be required to show the layout of multiple hook units.

Dimensions:

• W: Coat Hooks: 56 mm projection x 72 mm high.
• H: Hat and coat hook: 110 mm projection x 85 mm high overall (backplate 72 mm high).

The hooks are available in silver anodised aluminium and powder coated in a comprehensive range of RAL colours. Hooks at 190 mm centres require 170 mm spacers and hooks at 95 mm centres require 75 mm spacers.

In order to specify hooks, after the letter ‘V’ state the number of hooks required. Follow this with ‘/’ and state whether it is H, W or HW (mixture of both) that you require. Finally add the length of spacers required. i.e. For four hat and coat hooks at 190mm centres the code would be:

• V4/H170

Alternatively give the length of wall, the hook type and the required centres of the hooks.

Binns Variset Reverse Hook System

A range of hat and coat hooks reverse mounted onto an aluminium shield. The product is designed to reduce potential risks associated with the protrusion of hooks at eye level in highly trafficked areas. Hooks are usually centred at 95 mm or 190 mm but can be supplied fixed at any centre required. Available in any length and can be produced to customer's own colour specification finished in either polyester or nylon. The units can be produced in single lengths, continuous runs around walls or in a variety of free-standing units.

In order to specify hooks, after the letter ‘V’ state the number of hooks required. Follow this with ‘/R’ then if they need to be at 190mm centres enter ‘170’ and if they need to be at 95mm centres enter ‘75’.

Binns Variset NV Range Hanging System

A range of options for the storage of coats, bags and personal effects. Hangers and hooks slide in aluminium rails, which can also form a slatted shelf, to provide anything from a single hook rail to a complete cloakroom layout. Designed for use in offices and conference areas, as well as cloakrooms. Hangers and/or hooks (either sliding or fixed) are usually supplied at 100 mm centres, but any other spacing can be specified. Available in lengths and configurations to suit room layout.
